Legal Agreements & Studio Ethics
Transparency is the bedrock of craftsmanship. These agreements define our commitment to excellence and the shared responsibilities between the artisan and the collector.
General Terms of Service
By engaging with Chimera Workshop & Studio, you acknowledge that all items are artisanal, handmade creations. No two pieces are identical, and minor variations in texture, color, and finish are inherent to the process.
The studio reserves the right to refuse service or commissions that conflict with our production capability or brand values.
Key Requirement
Clients must be 18 years or older or have parental consent to enter into a legal binding agreement for custom workshop services.
Commission Terms
Scope & Quotes
All initial quotes are estimates. Significant scope changes requested by the client during production will result in a quote reassessment.
Approval Milestones
We utilize a 3-step approval process: Concept, Structural, and Final. Approval at each stage is final and permits further work.
Client Files
The client is solely responsible for the technical accuracy and rights of any files, logos, or reference imagery provided.
Financial Provisions
Payment Policy
- • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a slot in the production queue.
- • Full balance must be cleared prior to shipping or final delivery of digital assets.
- • Payments are accepted via secure bank transfer or major credit processors. Fees may apply.
Refunds & Cancellation
- • Deposits are non-refundable once physical material sourcing has commenced.
- • Refunds are not possible after production (construction) has started due to the custom nature of our work.
- • Should the Studio cancel, a full 100% refund (including deposit) will be issued.
Logistics & Execution
Production Timeline
Estimates provided at booking are approximations. As a boutique studio, supply chain fluctuations or technical complexities in the forging process may adjust dates.
Shipping & Risk
We ship globally with full insurance. All tracking is provided upon dispatch. Risk of loss passes to the client once the item is with the carrier.
Legal Protections
IP Policy & Liability
Chimera Workshop & Studio retains artistic ownership of the technical design and fabrication methods. Clients receive ownership of the physical object for personal use. Commercial licenses must be negotiated separately.
Liability is limited to the cost of the commission. The studio is not responsible for damages resulting from misuse or environmental wear of artisanal items.
Privacy Policy
Your data is stored for transactional and logistical purposes only. We do not sell data. We may use imagery of the finished commission for our portfolio unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is requested at booking.
